ONE MAN’S GARDEN HELPS TO FEED HUNDREDS

KOLD, Channel 13 News in Tucson, Arizona is reporting the story of a local gardener who has been talented and generous enough to help feed hundreds of people in his area of Arizona.

The Green Valley Food Bank has been the fortunate recipient of thousands of pounds of fresh produce thanks to Angela Loscano…and that fresh produce helps many families get the most flavor and mileage that they can out of a few staple foods:

“If they got a can of let’s say of tuna and that was what they were going to use to feed their family, if they add lettuce and tomato and onion to enhance that, it makes it go further,” said Mary Jane Goodrick, branch manager of the Green Valley Community Food Bank.

What a great contribution from a really kind man in this community!
